چکیده
Introduction/Background Cervical cancer (CC) is one of the most common types and fourth leading cause cancer-related deaths in women. carcinogenesis multistep process cervical dysplasia development progression. Correct diagnostic effective therapy presents an important approach to reduce CC morbidity mortality. MicroRNAs epithelium cells are considered as promising markers dysplasia. MicroRNA-based test-systems can provide a helpful addition traditional techniques. Methodology NOVAprep-miR-CERVIX new test-system based on RT-qPCR analysis six miRNAs (miR-21–5p; miR-29b-3p; miR-145–5p; miR-451a-5p; miR-1246–5p miR-1290–3p) material smear. Test-system includes quality control enzymatic reaction efficacy. Machine learning random forest algorithm was applied for results evaluation. smear samples were obtained from 226 women: 114 normal 112 with high-grad intraepithelial lesion (HSIL) or carcinoma situ (CIS) result cytological Moreover, any HSIL/CIS diagnosis confirmed histologically. Results The 38 216 (17.8%) did not pass controls excluded analysis. Index (miR-CERVIX-I varied 0 1) calculated base miRNA remaining 178 samples. Difference miR-CERVIX-I statistically significant two groups formed cytological/histological (figure 1). Normal condition < 0.49) diagnosed sensitivity 79.2%, specificity 80.46%. HSIL 70.83%, 97.22% > 0.78). intermediate value (between 0.5 0.77) supposed reflect low-grade Conclusion be management test system complimentary standard methods.

ESGO statement on cervical cancer vaccination.
In 2004, almost 31,000 women in the EU25 were diagnosed with cervical cancer and 14,000 died from the disease. Assuming that the proportion of uterine cancer of cervical origin in the 12 countries not belonging to the European Economic Area was similar to that in the ten new European Union (EU) member states brings us to a rough estimate of 52,000 cases and 27,000 deaths for the whole European ...

Background: An increasing success in induction of labor and subsequent termination of pregnancy in presence of unfavorable cervix requires cervical ripening in order to reduce complications and to diminish the rate of cesarean sections as well as the duration of labor. However, there is no consensus on the efficiency of conventional methods for cervical ripening. Objective: To determine and co...

متن کاملDiagnosing Cervical Dysplasia Using Visual Inspection of the Cervix with Acetic Acid in a Wman in Rural Haiti
Cervical cancer remains a significant cause of morbidity and mortality for women in developing countries, despite the fact that inexpensive, simple and effective screening methods are available. Visual inspection of the cervix with acetic acid (VIA) can be used as part of a “screen and treat” program to identify precancerous lesions for cryotherapy treatment. This case report details how the VI...
